I am currently based in Luxembourg, but starting in the fall I will be in Fribourg (Switzerland) funded by SNSF Ambizione. Here’s my CV.

I’m looking for a PhD student,

to be jointly supervised by Stefan Wenger and me, for a four-year PhD project at the University of Fribourg, starting in the fall of 2026. If you’re interested, get in touch.

I work on a variety of geometric questions (metric, systolic, symplectic, convex, discrete), often with a combinatorial flavor. Scroll right for a couple of examples from the “systolic-diastolic” paradigm, important in my current research.

Other keywords resonating with me: Viterbo’s conjecture, Mahler’s conjecture, plank problems, plabic graphs, topological combinatorics, high-dimensional expanders, reflection groups.
